HIY&GC 2009 RECIPRIOCAL MOORAGE
The
homeport of HIY&GC is on the island locally known as Hat Island,
a few minutes northwest of Port Gardner at Everett. However, the proper name…as shown on your
chart…is Gedney Island.
This is brought to your attention so we are not mistaken for Hat Island
near Anacortes, WA.
Island amenities beyond the marina are
limited to property owners and their guests per the covenants of the Hat Island Community
Association. With advanced notice via the Harbormaster, our officers/members
will do our utmost to personally sponsor your boating party. We hope you enjoy your stay.
For your information the following applies:
- Reservations are strongly recommended
- Reciprocal is not available on Holiday
weekends.
- Boats over 40 feet are charged at the rate of
$0.70 per foot and boat length is limited to 48 feet.
- Length of stay is limited to 48 hours ANNUALLY per boat/member.
- We have no fresh water on the dock or garbage
facilities - all garbage must be taken with you.
- Our club house ice machine ($1/bag) is the only
commercial venture on the island.
You do have access to:
- Our club house, with a member escort (weekends
are best).
- The club house has ice for $1/bag, kitchen
facilities, rest rooms, and showers.
- A nine-hole golf course – one mile walk, $15
green fee for 9 holes, $20 green fee for 18 holes
- A tennis court – ¼ mile walk.
- 30 amp power at the rate of $4.00 per day.
Harbormaster Requests:
- Please
fly your burgee / Officers Flag.
- Notify
the Harbormaster of your intent to enter the marina by calling by calling the
Harbormaster on 360-444-6656. The Harbormaster is available all year.
- Directions
of the Harbormaster are final.
- Please
register and pay for power upon arrival
